It is a famous story that Japan sent cherry trees to Washington D.C. but I didn’t know it was started from the black ships in Edo period.
Speaking of cherry blossoms, I now live in a city where Somei-Yoshino, one of the most popular cherry trees, was born.
It only blooms for around a week and the petals are falling now.
But I still like the petals scattering in the wind.
