*poor〜！で「〜は可哀想！」「〜はお気の毒だ！」という意味になります。Poor thing!は誰にでも何にでも当てはまります。

the first time in a while という表現、お上手ですね。the first time in [期間。例えばa weekやtwo years]で、「〜ぶりに」と言う言い方で便利ですよね☺️この猫ちゃんにもその言い方が通用するかどうか興味があります。ぜひ聞いてみてください。
