This is my New Year photo.
I didn’t do anything special and I didn’t take pictures which look like New Year.
But I took a picture of a black and white cat where always 2 or 3 black cats are hanging around. It was my first time to see her. I felt relieved because they didn’t seem to start fighting each other.
This year, I want to see her more often and hopefully pet her someday.

クロちゃんたちはノラですが、白黒のコは首輪をしてたので飼い猫だと思います。迷子ではないといいのですが…

性別はわからないのですが、ネコはしなやかなのでなんとなくherとしました。調べると単数でもtheyとする表現があるとのことでしたが、この文脈では複数のネコが出てくるのでやめました。itはなんとなく使いたくないと思うのですが、ネイティブだったらこのような場合どういうのでしょうか？また性別のわからない単数の場合にtheyを使うのは一般的なのでしょうか？
